Cancellation Policy
CANCELLATION and REFUNDS:
If a deposit has been paid, cancellation of your booking must be in writing and must be received by Clearwater Fly fishing Guides: Cancellation fees will be charged in accordance with the following conditions.
1. Bookings cancelled 90 days prior to booking date will incur a cancellation fee of 50% of the total booking cost.
2. Bookings cancelled 7 days or less prior to booking date will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total booking cost.
3. Bookings cancelled due to government travel restrictions or closure of international or state borders shall not be entitled to a refund but shall be issued a credit voucher for the booking amount paid to be used within one year.
4. No-Shows shall not be entitled to any refund or credit voucher.
5. Guests that arrive late or depart early shall not be entitled to any refund.
CHANGES ARE NOT PERMITTED AFTER PAYMENT HAS BEEN RECEIVED FOR A BOOKING.
What to Bring
Suitable clothing eg, Long sleeved shirt Hat, polarised sunglasses. Sun protection.
Inclusions
All fishing equipment can be supplied on request Rods, reels, flies and waders ,wading boots (size permitting) Guide is first aid trained carries first aid kit .
Payment Policy
A deposit of 50% of the total costs of the booking must be received when making the booking. Failure to do so will result in the booking automatically cancelled.
If the booking is made within 7 days of utilisation, payment in full is required immediately. FINAL Payment must be made 7 days prior to utilisation or the booking is automatically cancelled.

I had my introduction to fly fishing through a Fly Fishing Expo at Thredbo. After the introduction I booked a half day guide with Clearwater Fly Fishing Guides where I learnt so much about casting, reading the water and tips and techniques about the craft of fly fishing. Daf has been my guide in the Snowy Mountains for almost 25 years and I still look forward to the next trip as if it’s my very first. Not only has he taken my fly fishing to the next level but each expedition is carefully thought out & his knowledge of the rivers & local activity means we’re fishing virgin water every time. For me it’s as much about the high country experience as the fishing itself and each day on the river with Daf is truly memorable, regardless of the fish count. That said, he has an eagle eye and uncanny ability to put me over fish in spots that I never expected, even today as a more experienced fly fisherman. I’ve lost count of the trophy browns we’ve caught & released together on the Thredbo River but each one has been pure magic. Over the years as my mobility and eyesight have made fly fishing more of a challenge Daf has been able to adapt his guiding to ensure the experience is every bit as enjoyable as the early days. I can’t recommend him highly enough!
